I created this for a contest entry lets hope I win fingers crossed.
Programs:3ds max, vray, (*photoshop for extra blood work) Development time: 1 week modeled everything from scratch. Render Time: 1 hour 20 for high rez.
photoshop blood work I used AnnaFrost photoshop brushes found here [link]
thanks! I never use stock models I try to always model everything. I use stock for background images or photoshop brushes for touch up effects. I found I spent too much time looking for a good model to use when I could have modeled it myself with that time spent looking.
My feelings exactly (though I'm very bad at modelling people and animals so tend to look for stock where I can for those kinds of objects). Everything is better when it's hand made.
this is brilliantly done though as a suggestion, i would like the blood to appear brighter to pop out more, but that is more of a personal thing. anyway, great job i hope you win the contest!
yeah the contest topic is stairway so I went with more subtle blood verses in your face blood. I was having fun it started with a creepy art deco room flooded and turned into evidence of someone being dragged down the stairs. I have a friend writing a little short story to go with the scene.
